The Second Class!

Today in class we started to talk about importing video into logic, we talked about film styles, SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) time code, and got the information and material for the first task. Key commands were also a “key” part of today’s lesson. I found today’s lesson remarkable useful as I had very little idea how to use video in Logic 8. Thanks Julio. As to the first task I am looking forward to  working on this task, and I think that if the rest of the module is like this so far i will both enjoy and (hopefully) succeed.

How do you think this module links into others you have taken? will it influence your choice of year 3 modules?

Yes I think that it will, while in college I did Foley and sound for film work and loved it, I hope that there is A third year version of Music for Digital Media, I so far have enjoyed the module. As to how it links in with the other, at the moment I am unsure, as I’ve only had one of each class this year. I will let you know when I am more certain of what each one entails
